Photo of PRR Centipede at Horseshoe Curve
PRR Centipede at Horseshoe Curve

This is really quite an engine to drive - it's very responsive to the track geometry and the sounds are impressive. The cabview is very nice too. I found myself spending more time cabview than I usually do. For all it's power, I found it hard for the two units to exceed 25 mph with a 40 car train up the grade on the mainline. Cars in this consist are a mix, most from the BLW PRR 1950's set.
